A Welcome Donation: Street Pastors Project in Surrey Donates Pallets of Flip Flops to Street Angels Projects
In these unprecedented times, it’s important to come together as a community and support one another. That’s why we’re thrilled to share the news of a recent donation made to our Street Angels projects around the UK.
Thanks to the Street Pastors project in Surrey, we’ve received several pallets of flip flops to distribute to those in need. These flip flops will help provide comfort and protection to those who may be walking long distances or in need of suitable footwear. It’s a small gesture, but one that can make a big difference.
But the generosity didn’t stop there. Richard at HIB Bathrooms in Tamworth offered to pick up the flip flops and drop them off at our headquarters in Manchester, which made the logistics of distribution much easier for us.
We’re currently in the process of sending out the flip flops to each project, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support we’ve received. It’s heartwarming to see people coming together to make a positive impact in their communities.
The Street Angels projects operate in various locations across the UK and are staffed by volunteers who provide practical support to people in need. They often operate during weekends and evenings and provide a safe haven for those who may be vulnerable or experiencing difficulties. We believe that small acts of kindness can make a big difference, and we’re grateful for the support of individuals and organizations who share our mission.
