Neil Collin

ROC Projects Development Manager North East

Neil is delighted to serve ROC in the North East, the area he is proud to have grown up in and now lives in once again. His professional background is policing, having successfully completed a 30 year career in 2009. This was primarily in Northumbria for the first 23 years and latterly in the Metropolitan Police Service, having transferred south due to a relocation of workplace for his wife, Fiona. Their return to the northeast was again due to Fiona, where she is now serving as Curate to Sunderland Minster.

Neil has considerable experience in training and community engagement and is excited to reapply this knowledge and understanding as he seeks, in partnership, to expand ROC and their projects into the region.

Married to Fiona for 32 years, they have Adam and Amy who live in Ascot and Sheffield respectively. Neil enjoys sport, travel, reading and is part of the Christian Police Association and a Chaplain to Northumbria Police in Sunderland.
