Champions Showcase

On Tuesday 29th January our ROC Champions showcased their recent achievements at Broadoak school.

15 children took part in the event which included a mixture of dance, visual art, singing and drama.

Parents were invited and looked on proudly as the kids demonstrated how much they have embraced the project and we were delighted that the Mayor of Trafford Tom Ross came along to add his support.

ROC Champions is a project which seeks to train up young people as mentors for their peers. It increases self-esteem and confidence as well as improving a wide variety of skills.

The success of the program in Broadoak has opened up doors for us to deliver this project to another Trafford school, Ashton on Mersey, and we can’t wait to begin working with the kids when they return from half term.
