Green ROC Café

Since moving to our new HQ in Partington we have been keen to consult with local people and agencies about what sort of projects would work well at The Fuse youth and community centre.
One of our aims is to provide projects for young people and a number of ideas are in the pipeline including; a ROC Cafe and ROC Football.
Many of the conversations we’ve had have highlighted the issue of looking after our environment which has opened the way to looking at eco-friendly projects which have ‘green’ aims & objectives.
Plans are underway to develop a Green ROC Cafe youth club, which will include an allotment project where young people can grow their own produce. There will also be cookery classes to cook the produce they have grown, learning about healthy eating and a recycling project.
We are really excited about the Green ROC Cafe! Debra is hosting a fundraising event on October 22nd 7.30pm – Debra’s GREEN Party (ladies only). To find out more; click here
