Project Officer (Part-time)
Based: ROC – The Fuse HQ

Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Officer to fill this newly created role based at our HQ, The FUSE, Warburton Lane, M31 4BU
ROC is a national charity working with people of goodwill from all faiths and none to make communities stronger, safer and kinder. Our mission is to transform the UK from the grassroots up. We inspire, train and support volunteers to tackle local social issues such as youth anti-social behaviour, elderly isolation, family fragmentation and others.
Working for ROC is exciting, rewarding and full of variety. This role involves supporting existing ROC Action Groups and building a local support network for future projects. The new Project Officer will be based in our Headquarters working 10 hours per week with the National Development Manager.
You’ll need to be confident and personable, a good communicator and a self-starter who enjoys setting and achieving goals. Experience of voluntary work is essential with experience of managing volunteers and responsibility for a project/scheme is desirable.
Hours: 1.5 days per week (10 hours) for one year with potential to extend depending on funding.
