Redeeming Our Communities (ROC) is a national charity (Reg.1139817) working with people of goodwill from all faiths and none to make communities stronger, safer and kinder. Our mission is to transform the UK from the grassroots up. We inspire, train and support volunteers to tackle local social issues such as youth anti-social behaviour, elderly isolation, family fragmentation and others.

Working for ROC is exciting, rewarding and full of variety. This role involves getting out and meeting community group leaders, head teachers and other decision makers to help set up new mentoring projects; recruiting, training and supporting volunteers; organising events and keeping on top of a busy and challenging workload. You’ll need to be confident and personable, a good communicator and a self-starter who enjoys setting and achieving goals. Experience of voluntary work is essential. You may never have held a formal management role but must have some experience of responsibility for a project or scheme and of managing people and tasks.
