Fitness classes have started at the ROC Centre in Radcliffe.
The classes are aimed at the over 55’s and are already proving to be a great success.
So much so that the local newspaper has recently run a story.
Les Hartwell, aged 69, came up with the idea of running fitness sessions every Monday from 6.30pm-7.30pm.
Les said ‘It’s about working together with the community and getting people to inter-relate.’
Les got in touch with Anika, a qualified fitness instructor, who runs the weekly sessions and ensures they are a lot of fun.
This is one of the many activities being run from the Radcliffe ROC Centre.
The centre provides a community space where people can meet, make friends and attend a range of activities.
