The Centre is open on Mondays and Thursdays and over 30 clients pass through the door, or ring us each day.
As part of our work with the community, we help fill in benefit forms, including appeals for those whose applications have been turned down, this also involves providing representation at tribunals for re-instatement on other occasions.
We are also privileged to provide a listening ear for the tragedies that impacts the lives of our clients.
The advice centre distributes Food Vouchers too, mostly to those who are experiencing benefit delays. We also offer formal Counselling and provide help for whatever situation that comes through our doors.
ROC Advice works with a number of other orgasisations to further benefit the local community, such as:
Fegans, who help with children & families support,
People Matter, providing help with job searches and CVs.
HOME (Helen Owen Marketing Enterprises) is an agency that provides short courses on Confidence Building for clients of ours.
We are very much involved in introducing ROC Care to Eastbourne and much time and effort has been spent in exploring community activity in another part of Eastbourne and this is still ongoing.
