ROC Centre

A Community Hub with multiple projects under one roof.

Assessing the need

We typically use the ‘ROC Conversation’ model to bring agencies and local people together to identify the community needs and opportunities.

How it works

A ROC Centre is a community hub which houses a number of projects under one roof. The Centre is locally owned and locally managed with the support of our experienced team at ROC HQ..

Why partner with ROC?

Our experience of setting up, and running other Centres and our proven track record and high reputation with public services and partner agencies, offer local groups a real advantage and support.

Activities

Activities vary but typically include; Foodbank, Cinema Club, Youth work, sports, IT Skills, employment skills, advice, drop-in coffee shop, Police surgery, homework club, English lessons and much more.

Our Aims

Our aim is to provide services which are most needed and often unavailable due to current economic cuts.

How we measure success

By keeping accurate records we know how many people use the community centre and engage with specific projects. Each project has its own aims and ways to measure the impact of each service provided.
