We have undertaken 36 of these ROC Conversation community engagement events in the last 2 years. The footage in this film clip features the ROC Conversation in Northampton. One of the aims was to raise awareness about serious and organised crime and knife crime.

The Police and local agencies were delighted that we were able to gather over 400 people at Franklin Gardens in November 2018. A further 4 following events happened in various districts of Northants in January 2019. Our events helped to raise awareness of issues which contribute towards safer communities and practical ways of addressing social issues. It was noted that young people are 200% more likely to join a gang if they have been excluded from school, so supporting schools becomes vital in the task of addressing crime. We were also able to support the launch of CIRV (community initiative to reduce violence).

ROC is now busy with three ROC Conversation events in September; Wakefield (18th), Ballysillan, Belfast (24th) and Salford (30th).
