A full house for the ROC Conversation on the Wirral on January 20th at Tranmere Rovers FC. Our grateful thanks to everyone who came including the Mayor, Cllr Tony Smith, the Chief Constable of Merseyside Andy Cooke, the Chairman of Tranmere Rovers FC Mark Palios, Mark Camborne from Wirral Council Safer Wirral, Julie Webster Director of Health and wellbeing, Gary O Rourke from Merseyside Police. It was a fantastic evening full of inspiring ideas. There are over 1000 charities and community groups on the Wirral but there is a greater need for working together and sharing resources. One of the objectives of the evening was to talk about how we can all be involved in reducing crime. Quote of the night – ‘By being a good neighbour you are helping to reduce crime!’ An action group will meet to take ideas forward.
