The church leaders and Paul have explored together the possibility of launching ROC in the City and discussions are making good progress.

Developments in Southampton are even more recent, with Paul having met with church leaders Paul Woodman from Citylife Church and Steve Haines and Karen Armstrong from Kings Community Church following on from Debra speaking at the Pioneer leaders conference in Southampton in January and a desire to explore ROC further, particularly in Hampshire.

There are more discussions to be had, but we are thrilled about establishing a ROC partnership in two of the biggest cities on the South Coast. A group from Southampton travelled to Manchester to visit ROC’s new HQ in October.

It’s early days, but Paul was very excited about things, ‘We’ve had some really good meetings and there’s a real appetite to see how ROC could help build on the great work that churches are already doing in both Portsmouth and Southampton.
